Description of CE Program/Activity
Working with students who are visually impaired along with other physical and/or cognitive impairments can present a challenge. This course will help the Orientation and Mobility Specialist working in Iowa to better understand the needs of the student and how to effectively address those needs. This will be accomplished by having experts in these areas present practical and useful information, use that information to complete follow up assignments through an online course, and engage in professional collaboration on student needs. This course will be offered for license renewal and 1 hour of graduate credit.
