Update as of September 2026: Newer Chromebooks have a Launcher key or - Everything - key instead of a Search key. The Search, Launcher, or Everything key is located to the left of the spacebar on some of the newest Chromebook models. Google added a Quick Insert key to the left of the letter - A - on those models. On other models, if you do not have a Launcher key to the left of space, it will likely be to the left of the letter - A - where the CAPS Lock would be on a standard Windows or macOS QWERTY keyboard. The Launcher or Everything keys would be used as modifier keys, and these would be used interchangeably. This key is also used as the special modifier key for ChromeVox. Please keep this in mind as you progress through the modules in this course.
