ACVREP Announces Members of Advisory Committee to OT Subject Matter Experts

ACVREP Board of Directors announces the members of the Advisory Committee that will provide input and feedback to the OT Subject Matter Exerpt Committee developing the new certification for Adult Vision Rehabilitation for OTs The ACVREP Board of Directors has named the members of Advisory Committee, first announced in July, that will provide input and feedback to the OT Subject Matter Expert Committee as they develop the new adult vision rehabilitation certification for OTs. Serving on the Advisory Committee will be the following:

  • Dan Norris - UMass VRT faculty, Co-Chair of the ACVREP CVRT Subject Matter Expert Committee and President of Division 11 of AER
  • Nancy Parkin-Bashizi, practitioner and member ACVREP CVRT Subject Matter Expert Committee
  • Deb Cook Lewis, President, American Council of the Blind
  • Lyvette Carrasquillo, OT practitioner and recent graduate of UMass VRT graduate program
  • Elly du Pre, Manager AER Accreditation, former ACVREP Board member, Aging and Vision Loss Coalition, Vision Serve Alliance

Additionally, two international members will be added to the Advisory Committee at a later date.
