The ideal candidate will meet:

Knowledge/Experience - Working knowledge of characteristics of youth with disabilities and their families in the transition process, career development, vocational evaluation, and testing processes. Intranet and Internet web-based applications, including word processing, graphics, and database applications; and disability etiquette.

Skills/Abilities - This position also requires demonstrated abilities and skills in client-focused advocacy; effective oral, and written communication with diverse populations using a variety of modalities. Effective customer services and public relations. Keyboarding and data entry applications. Use of web-based technologies and file organization for easy retrieval of information needed. Ability to work individually and as an effective team member; and balancing multiple priorities within deadlines, fast-paced work environment, while maintaining quality control standards.

Additional Considerations:

Training or experience providing programmatic or logistical support in human services field, education field or closely related field. Experience related to disabilities, aptitude, academic testing, and knowledge of the vocational process. Direct experience in serving youth with disabilities through collaborative interagency and inter community efforts.  Experience with EVA purchasing system.

Hiring Range: Minimum $35,280 commensurate with experience
