Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist opportunity at the SD School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in beautiful Aberdeen, SD. This is a 12-month full-time non-faculty exempt position with full benefits.SDSBVI Home
Job Highlights:
- Organize, plan and provide direct orientation and mobility instruction to blind and visually impaired students/persons
- Develop and monitor student IEPs
- Monitor student progress and revise materials and instruction to meet individual student needs
Education & Experience:
- Credential in O&M by an accredited college/university
- COMS® Certified
Incumbent will be required to undergo a background investigation before employment begins. An arrest/conviction record will not necessarily bar employment.
Incumbent will be required to provide documentation of MMR vaccination.
