Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of program budget planning, formulation, evaluation and budget execution; demonstrated experience leading, managing and training staff; considerable experience in budget or resource analysis, financial planning, fiscal administration and procurement.
Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate budget management functions; to prepare evaluations of complex budget requests; to coordinate budget formulation with agency objectives and negotiate problem areas. Proficient in Excel and financial software.



Bachelor’s degree in accounting or public administration or equivalent experience. Experience in state government operations to include state budget, accounting policies and procedures, state procurement regulations, federal grant management, and internal controls. Experience and responsibility in maintaining a multi- funded state complex budget. Experience in the Department of Planning and Budget Performance Budgeting system.
