DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN AND FAMILY REHABILITATION SERVICES
This position is responsible for the development, implementation and day to day operations of the statewide family and children’s rehabilitation programs, training and support services. Responsible for planning all program services, programs and training. Oversees day to day operations of all programs through-out the state.
Has direct oversight of agency management personnel, as well as field personnel, to include Orientation and Mobility Specialist, Certified Teachers of the Visually Impaired, Assistive Technology Instructors, and program personnel. In partnership with Senior VP of Rehabilitation and Clinical Services, assists in establishing the annual budget and monitors the allocation of resources according to budgetary standards. May provide direct service to clients in need of service and assists the Director of Clinical Rehabilitation in maintaining client database and tracking essential outcomes.
Requires Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation and 2 years of experience in a vision related field or 8 years of experience in a vision related field. Preference given to candidates with program development experience. ACVREP certified in any approved discipline (O&M, CVRT, CLVT, AT, TVI). Oklahoma Driver’s license is required.
