Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist through the Academy of Vision Rehabilitition Professionals for School for the Deaf in North Carolina. Candidate will provide 113 hours of direct student care and 70 hours for IEP plan maintenance and file management, etc. Document training will be provided. Therapeutic activities to include: personal safety, efficient use of vision, effective communication skills, basic sign language, initial and/or ongoing evaluation of orientation and mobility, develop goals for IEP.
