ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
The Special Education staff is comprised of personnel trained in the education of children with special needs in areas such as: Intellectual Disabilities, Specific Learning Disabilities, Speech/Language Disabilities, Emotional Behavioral Disabilities, Hearing Impairment, Visual Impairment, as well as personnel with specific expertise utilized in the education of children with special needs such as: psychologists, physical therapists, and occupational therapists.
Special Education Teachers work with students identified with a disabling condition to address their specific needs and/or reduce or remediate academic, social, emotional, or behavior needs so as to allow the individual student to derive full benefit from the District
