This presentation will include review and interactive discussion of progress, successes, and new avenues for discovery that CNIB has experienced in its active pursuit of developing a comprehensive theory of change and meaningful outcomes measurement in vision rehabilitation for clients who are blind or partially sighted. In developing useful outcome framework for Vision Rehabilitation services our approach was highly influenced and guided by the Social Return on Investment (SROI) methodology and principles. The focus of the presentation will be on the process involved in mapping the key outcomes and developing the outcomes measurement tool in order to better understand and demonstrate how vision rehabilitation services impact lives of individuals who are blind or partially sighted. |
