Neuro-ophthalmology is an interesting field of medicine, as each patient presents with a unique set of visual disturbances and symptoms. This two hour discussion will explore neuro-ophthalmic emergencies that the health care professional should be aware of. It will also review standard neuro-ophthalmology cases; including, diplopia, anisocoria, thyroid eye disease, optic neuropathies, and optic neuritis. After this discussion, the attendee will have a broad knowledge base for challenging clinical scenarios in neuro-ophthalmology. |
