 The only face-to-face UEB training offered in KentuckyThis training meets the mandatory state requirements for teachers of the visually impaired in the transition to UEB. The first day includes hands on activities with the Perkins Brailler focusing on changes within the literary code. The second day of training involves hands on activities with UEB and math.  July 14: Pamela Howard, Outreach Consultant and Cindy Queen, NBCT will present on the Best Practices Continuum This session will provide participants with more specific guidance and best practices in the world of visual impairments as related to: Response to Intervention, Referral, Initial Evaluation, Adverse Effect, Determining Eligibility, IEP Development, Progress Monitoring, and Lesson Plan Development focusing on the Expanded Core Curriculum. - See more at: http://www.ksb.k12.ky.us/News/10104#sthash.o9kv1FA2.dpufJuly 15-16: Frances Mary D'Andrea and Mary Nelle McLennan will present on Unified English Braille (UEB).
