The Western Regional Early Intervention Conference (WREIC) will be held at the Hotel Albuquerque in Albuquerque, New Mexico from September 16-18, 2015. WREIC is designed to support professionals working with children birth to five who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, visually impaired or deafblind and their families. The WREIC has been in place for over 30 years, making it one of the longest ongoing early intervention conferences in the nation. Speakers and workshops will be focused on current research, technology, resources and practices in the field. The theme for the 2015 WREIC is Traditions and Innovations: Serving Families Whose Young Children are Blind, Visually Impaired, Deaf, Hard of Hearing or Deaf-Blind |
