Description of CE Program/Activity
The February Statewide BVI Meeting will focus on intelligence testing of students who are blind and visually impaired (BVI). When appropriate practices are followed, valuable and useful information can be obtained. It is the appropriate practice that differentiates testing this low incidence population from other students.This BVI Specific Workshop will include:Overview of IQ Testing Implications of BVI on IQ Testing Necessity of CollaborationMeeting Accessibility NeedsReporting and Explaining Results It is imperative that Teachers of the Blind/Visually Impaired and School Psychologists have this knowledge and can collaborative effectively for the benefit of our students. School Psychologists have also been invited and are encouraged to attend.
