Description of CE Program/Activity
Increase your knowledge of using quality evaluations to design appropriate instruction for students with visual impairments. Explore the Essential Assessments for Children Who are Blind or Visually Impaired, a framework that builds upon over 120 key tools and resources for assessment and programming. Participants will receive resources and tools that promote promising practices for the Functional Vision Evaluation, Learning Media Assessment, and evaluation in the areas of the Expanded Core Curriculum. The benefits of using assessment rubrics in education will be addressed, including how it can assist professionals and administrators in their ongoing educational efforts to assess, set goals, teach, and evaluate.
