This training provides a practical overview of infectious disease awareness, including how illnesses can spread, common exposure risks in everyday service settings, and practical strategies to help reduce risk. Participants will learn how to recognize potential signs of illness, protect themselves and those they support, and use visual and non-visual cues to maintain awareness of potential health concerns in a variety of environments.Objectives: Describe how infectious diseases can spread in home and community settings.
