For the conference this year we have invited Leah Reed to speak to us about dyslexia and how it can be seen when learning braille. Doctor John Ravenscroft has agreed to come all they way back from CVI Scotland to help us understand the implications and different research that has been done recently for Cerebral Visual Impairment. He will be doing sessions during the conference as well as an entire post conference day. We have many other speakers invited to share information on hot topics such as convergence insufficiency, transitions from high school to adulthood, camps around the 3 states, as well as local ophthalmologist and former superintendent of public instruction for Idaho to be a part of a professional panel. We are very excited to share information with all conference participants! ACVREP, CRCC and other credits available. |
