This session will explore what clients may experience following a diagnosis of vision impairment, as well as the impact on parents and families. A clinical psychologist will provide insight into emotional adjustment, mental health considerations, and practical ways O&M specialists can recognise and respond to psychosocial needs in their work. We will also cover pathways for accessing mental health supports across Medicare and the NDIS, helping you feel more confident in supporting and referring clients. |
