Description of CE Program/Activity
Placement agents play a critical role in supporting implementation of Title I of the ADA. They often serve as an advisor to applicants and employees with disabilities and potential employers. This session will provide an overview of Title I of the ADA and its requirement to provide reasonable accommodation for qualified applicants and employees with disabilities. We will discuss how placement agents can support both of their customers in implementing the rights and responsibilities under the employment provisions of the ADA. Time will be reserved for audience questions.
