Charles Bonnet Syndrome (CBS) is a condition where individuals experience visual hallucinations. These hallucinations occur in people with partial or significant vision loss. CBS is not a mental illness, dementia, or psychiatric disorder. Awareness is important because many individuals hesitate to report symptoms due to fear or misunderstanding. The purpose of this presentation is to provide education regarding Charles Bonnet Syndrome including an overview of the condition and ways to support our Veterans. |
