Practitioners serving individuals who are blind or visually impaired must ensure that they are equipped with the appropriate attitude, motivation, and skill set to provide effective training strategies that address the unique needs of individuals from cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Participants in this session will gain an understanding of the programs and services provided by the American Council of the Blind (ACB). This session will focus on the ACB Community, participation/engagement, and media content available. |
