Description of CE Program/Activity
The Braille Challenge is a dynamic, academic competition designed to celebrate and strengthen braille literacy for students who are blind or visually impaired. Participants showcase their skills across a range of braille-related subjects, including reading comprehension, spelling, proofreading, speed and accuracy, tactile charts and graphs, and practical application. The event encourages excellence, builds confidence, and fosters a sense of community among students, educators, and families. By highlighting the importance of braille as a vital literacy tool, the Braille Challenge empowers students to achieve academic success and independence while recognizing their dedication and hard work.
