The American Printing House for the Blind (APH), in cooperation with Getting in Touch with Literacy (GITWL), invites you to a hands-on morning training session focused on the Monarch. Monarch Basics is designed for individuals who are new to the device or who may need additional support for their own learning. This session will offer guided instruction and interactive practice with the core features of the Monarch.Pre-training requirement: To participate in this session, applicants must complete the following HIVE courses no later than October 31, 2025: Getting Started with the Chameleon 20 Advancing with the Chameleon 20Note: Participation is by application.Objectives: Identify key components and functions of the Monarch. Navigate files and open sample content using the File Manager. Explore tactile graphics using the Tactile Viewer. Access and read files using Victor Reader. Understand the basic math functions on the device. |
