Description of CE Program/Activity
Join a fun, interactive day with Dr. Ting as she leads preconference attendees on a series of tech- and graphics- fueled adventures! Ranging from high- to low- tech concepts, Dr. Ting will introduce new tools for supporting teachers in the tech assessment and instruction process, and challenge teachers to re-think no-tech approaches for preparing students to create and learn with graphics. Be sure to bring your own personal device such as a smartphone, tablet, or laptop for maximum hands-on learning. For the afternoon, bring a bag of tactile materials of your choice, scissors, and a glue stick. 8:45Welcome and overview of the morning9-10:30Loop in cutting edge technology and strategies for supporting the AT assessment process10:30-10:45Break10:45-11:45Leverage cutting edge technology and strategies for supporting digital accessibility and alternate media 11:45-1:15Lunch1:15Overview of the afternoon1:30Introduction to TADA!
