Description of CE Program/Activity
Eschenbachs next webinar is entitled, Keeping Your Patients Independent with Bioptic Telescopes. The presentation will focus on what bioptic telescopes are and under what circumstances they should be prescribed to provide practical use. Their functional use for driving will be discussed an activity which can be very important in keeping patients independent, i.e., driving allows those with visual impairments the ability to hold down a job, remain socially active, shop for themselves, etc. The agenda also includes a discussion as to which patients are considered to be good candidates for bioptic telescopes and how they can be trained to use the device successfully.
