Practitioners serving individuals who are blind or visually impaired must ensure that they are equipped with the appropriate attitude, motivation, and skill set to provide effective training strategies that address the unique needs of individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Participants in this session will receive a hands-on review of two common devices used by visually impaired Veterans in our inpatient setting including a digital recorder and talking atomic watch.
