The purpose of this training is to provide blind rehab staff with a hands-on presentation on using Meta Glasses to support Veterans in their rehabilitation journey. This training will be delivered in person and will cover the Meta Glasses set up, Meta View app interface navigation, and potential applications of Meta Glasses in blind rehabilitation.Meta Glasses offer augmented reality (AR) and accessibility tools that can assist Veterans with vision impairments by providing orientation information, access to products, reading text via OCR, identifying items and using the device to access messages and phone calls. This presentation will provide an overview of how Meta Glasses function and their role in supporting Veterans in both clinical and home settings. |
