Participants are invited to focus on the Braille Authority of North America s (BANA) Principles of Braille Transcription. They will gain a comprehensive understanding of braille transcription guidelines, including title pages, front matter, tables of contents, transcriber-generated pages, publisher information, and reproduction notices. The session will also cover the purpose, format, and content of transcriber s notes, which provide essential information to the reader that is not readily apparent from the text alone. |
