Description of CE Program/Activity
JAWS, the Chameleon, the Mantis, the Monarch, oh my! This workshop will guide teachers and staff in understanding how to support students' braille displays with a computer running JAWS, and most importantlyhow to break down screenreader and braille display concepts for students learning. Our training will cover a basic to intermediate level of instruction, including how to decide which braille display from APH is appropriate for meeting which student needs. Participants will feel empowered to carry out lessons with students right away and identify further training needs to learn more advanced screenreader and braille display skills.
