It is recommended that participants of this training who have access to an iPhone, download the Gemini app and sign into the Gemini App using Google account sign in and creating one if necessary. The purpose of this training is to provide instruction on the delivery of service to Veterans admitted to the Blind Rehabilitation Center as a practical application for training. Participants will learn the Google Gemini iOS application interface with relation to performing an internet information search and apply the skills with a hands-on training during this presentation. Google Gemini is a useful mobile app that replaces the traditional web browser google search, for information, with a layout that can be navigated and read with the same pattern from one search to the next, as opposed to the traditional google search where going from one website to the next in order to find your best answer can be a daunting task when learning how to best navigate a different website each time due to the not all websites being designed the same and/or being accessible. Google Gemini can be accessed on multiple platforms i.e. PC, MAC, and can even be accessed via the guide web browser, and is a more accessible streamlined Internet information search than traditional google in browser search however, this training will highlight the iOS app. |
