 Details: This presentation, given by Ron Brown, NOMC, will explore the nuts and bolts of independent contracting as a service-delivery model for orientation and mobility. The presenter will discuss such topics as Is contracting right for me as a practitioner? , instructional strategies in the field, and independent contracting versus center-based training.-How to determine if independent contracting is a good fit for an instructor.-How structured discovery learning can be an effective strategy in independent contracting.-Pros and cons of contracting versus working in a center environment.Intended Audience:All O&M practitioners including current independent contractors or those considering this delivery modelRegistered OMSA Members will automatically be emailed a link to the CEU form.
