Practitioners serving individuals who are blind or visually impaired must ensure that they are equipped with the appropriate attitude, motivation, and skill set to provide effective training strategies that address the unique needs of individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Participants in this session will gain an understanding of issues affecting women Veterans and the programs that Women s Health provides to support them at VA Long Beach. They will also learn approaches for providing services to women Veterans inpatient at our blind rehabilitation center. |
