Description of CE Program/Activity
 Introduction:The purpose of this training is to provide a hands-on training on the delivery of service to Veterans admitted in the Blind Rehab Center for computer access training. Participants will learn the accessibility interface and apply the skills with a hands-on training during this presentation. Voice Over and Zoom are a powerful screen reading and screen magnification software with many accessibility features; enabling the user to be able to navigate the Apple OS platform with built in speech output and screen magnification as the user will learn using the mouse and or keyboard commands. This presentation will provide an overview and comprehensive snapshot training on the use of these software to be able to carry out an assessment and understanding of the program on a 1:1 basis once a Veteran is admitted at the West Palm Beach Blind Rehab Center for computer assessment and training. Participants will learn how to use Voice Over and Zoom to be able to assess and provide training to Veterans with a visual impairment that they serve in their catchment area in their home setting for assessment prior to being referred to the Blind Rehab Center.
