Our final networking session closes with a deep dive into additional advanced features of Accessible Pedestrian Signals (APSs) and offers instructional strategies for you and your students. The presenter will define and highlight the specific purposes of the different components of an APS signal, including the locator tone, activation, arrow, and walk indication. During the session, the presenter will discuss recommended placement at signalized intersections and provide teaching strategies to support safe and independent navigation of complex intersections. The event will conclude with networking, open discussion, and questions. |
