The focus of this networking session will be advanced features of different tactile warning surfaces. During the session, the presenter will define and outline the applications for various detectable warning systems (DWS), tactile direction indicators (TDI), and tactile warning delineators (TWD). The content portion of this session will close with a review of how to work with traffic engineers and introduce you to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). The event will conclude with networking, open discussion, and questions. |
