This session will focus on the environmental and classroom factors and supports that should be taken into consideration when working with a student with Cortical Visual/Cerebral Impairment (CVI), a brain-based visual impairment. In addition, the session will explore the many ways to optimize the presentation of lessons for greater participation. Following the presentation, teachers will move into breakout rooms for networking with others to discuss topics further, ask questions, and share ideas and resources. |
