Description of CE Program/Activity
 The purpose of this training is to provide a hands-on training on the delivery of service to Veterans admitted in the Blind Rehab Center for computer access training. Participants will learn the JAWS interface and apply the skills with a hands-on training during this presentation. JAWS is a powerful screen reading software with many accessibility features; enabling the user to be able to navigate the windows platform with built in speech output as the user will learn using the mouse and or keyboard commands. This presentation will provide an overview and comprehensive snapshot training on the use of this software to be able to carry out an assessment and understanding of the program on a 1:1 basis once a Veteran is admitted at the West Palm Beach Blind Rehab Center for computer assessment and training.
