Description of CE Program/Activity
 Join Gwyn Suttell for a session on thinking outside the box for students with different abilities. Gwyn will share her experiences and ideas on collaborating with PT to maximize this population's unique needs and successes for independent travel. She will share their triumphs fumbles with a focus on taking away practical suggestions to incorporate into your daily practice. Highlight case studies to show collaboration efforts between PT and O&M services and the success of this practice.Participants will understand each role and responsibility for each discipline.Participants will learn of complementary skills and how this impacts an individual with blindness and physical disabilities.Participants will take away strategies for increasing independent travel for all students with physical limitations including walkers and wheelchairs.
