A unique hybrid series spanning summer and fall 2024. This series combines asynchronous learning with interactive virtual sessions with guest presenters. Participants will be provided access to online modules containing rich, on-demand resources that help build tactile graphics competencies for professionals supporting students who are blind or have low vision. Attendees can explore topics ranging from the fundamentals of tactile graphic design to practical applications and integration strategies within educational settings. With flexibility as a guiding principle, participants can navigate these materials at their own pace, tailoring their learning experience to suit their individual needs and preferences.Complementing the asynchronous content are interactive virtual sessions, where guest presenters join to discuss topics related to tactile graphics. These in-depth workshops will feature live demonstrations, guided tutorials, and facilitated discussions, providing a dynamic platform for exploring key concepts and fostering community among participants.As the series unfolds, participants will gain proficiency in leveraging innovative software tools such as PixBlaster and Tiger Software Suite to create tactile graphics that are informative, intuitive, and engaging.
