Multiple cases will be presented in this advanced-level course, demonstrating genetic testing result interpretation, the resulting patient counseling, and clinical management, including gene therapy and clinical trial referrals. This course will briefly review clinically relevant information about genetics, including inheritance patterns, current gene therapy, and ongoing clinical trials. Attendees will be provided with resources to search genetic information about specific ocular conditions as well as current clinical trials. |
