Please join us for a professional development day on April 8, 2024. Darick Wright, O&M Coordinator, Vision Studies Program at UMass Boston, will join us as a speaker. Following A discussion with Darick, there will be a hands-on blindfold experience for COMS to refresh their O&M skills, including modified human guide, trailing, and street crossings. Following lunch, there will be an interactive panel addressing topics related to community O&M in Massachusetts. Training will take place on the CCB campus from 10 am 3 pm, and an hour-long lunch will be provided to attendees in the middle of the event. Guests who sign up will be provided the exact location. This is only available to COMS who serve clients that are apart of the MCB/DDS Partnership Project.
