Description of CE Program/Activity
 Creating Access in the Classroom with the Deafblind Project - Deafblindness is a unique and uncommon disability. It is important to ensure that anyone working with a student with deafblindness understands this disability and understand the evidence-based practices used to create access to the classroom and the curriculum. Because students with deafblindness typically have other disabilities in addition to deafblindness, strategies must be individualized for each child to ensure the best outcomes. Accessing Library Materials with the New Mexico Library for the Blind and Print Disabled - Participants will learn how their students can get connected to the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled via the New Mexico Library for the Blind and Print Disabled. They will learn about what is available through the National Library Service and the services and equipment that are offered to access library materials.
