Community of Practice (CoP) meetings provide the opportunity for 3 of our core service provision disciplines (Orientation and Mobility Specialists, Vision Rehabilitation Therapists, and Low Vision Therapists) the opportunity to connect for information and education purposes on a quarterly basis. Each meeting is facilitated by a Professional Practice Lead to engage Specialists to develop their understanding of best practices and share strategies to incorporate in their daily work, and to learn from discipline related guest speakers. Terms of References have been established for each CoP and review by the membership biannually. |
