Science Fiction stories promised us a future where we could talk to our technology, and recently that has increasingly been becoming a reality. Voice assistants such as Siri, Google Assistant, and Amazons Alexa can do a plethora of tasks with a simple voice command, and AI technology such as Chat GPT looks set to widen the possibilities even further. But what about dictation? The ability to simply talk and get a perfect transcription of what they intend to say is a dream for many, and they want this dream to become a reality using an off-the-shelf computer. In this webinar we will explore whether Windows 11 is up to the task by exploring its built-in dictation functionality, as well as looking at its new voice control functionality, and how useful all of this is for people with vision loss.
