You will receive calendar invites shortly to hold the dates.In this Session, you will:-Understand Massachusetts Commission for the Blind (MCB)'s vision, mission, values, goals, and objectives-Review how MCB fits into Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) and the Secretariat to serve low vision and blind consumers-Understand MCB Consumers and Our Service Delivery System-Review MCB internal systems (Communication, Fiscal, Legal, Travel Policies) to better support consumers-Compare the different programs that support MCB consumers (Elder Services, Internship/Employment, Deaf/Blind, Children Services, Vocational Rehabilitation, Social Rehabilitation, Adaptive Technology, Orientation and Mobility, and Central Registration)-Analyze techniques for case management for consumer scenarios-Evaluate resources to provide ADA and DEI support for consumers |
