Description of CE Program/Activity
 People who are deafblind face unique challenges in their efforts to participate fully in our communities. Participants will learn about these challenges and the programs/services the Helen Keller National Center (HKNC) provides. Technology aimed to assist those that are deafblind reintegrate into the community will also be discussed. Please note, time will be available for questions and discussion at the end of the presentation.Learning Objectives:At the conclusion of this CE activity the participant will be able to:1.Identify the challenges faced by persons with deafblindness.2.Learn about the iCanConnect program and assistive technology available to assist people with deafblindness.3.Identify the services HKNC provides.
