Description of CE Program/Activity
 Welcome to our annual 2023 OAER conference! We are excited to have in this year s program presenters who will be sharing inspirational stories as well as tips and ideas of how we as professionals can work with individuals who are blind and visually impaired to take their knowledge and skills to a new level. Dave Wilkinson will be sharing his journey of physical and psychological adjustment following a horrific car accident as well as the tools that empower and enable him to access the world and live a fulfilling life. Rachel Buchanan is an Oklahoma School for the Blind (OSB) graduate and will be sharing her journey as a professional working in the field of rehabilitation of the blind and visually impaired.Susana Jackman, librarian for OSB, will spark our creative juices as she shares how we can work with our students and clients through the creation of podcasts. We also plan to have a blast with Shelby Gamble, coach and physical education teacher for OSB, who will be assisting us with learning the basics of beep baseball!
