 Title: Code Jumper Outcomes: Exploring the Assessment Tools in the Code Jumper Curriculum Date:Wednesday, May 24 Time (stated in Eastern Time):11 a.m. Duration:1 hour Description: Participants will dive into the Primary Lesson and Advanced Lesson Assessment tools available for the Code Jumper curriculum. Students engage and learn beginning coding and computer science through Code Jumper and it is important to collect data about their learning. In this session, learn how to use the Check for Understanding embedded within each lesson, employ the Computer Science Journal and support for the projects and rubrics that are available for each section of lessons. The participant will discover how to use the two levels of assessment tools across different settings. The participant will identify four strategies to document learning while using Code Jumper. The participant will discuss how to implement the Computer Science Journal.
