This two day workshop is focused on the needs of blind/low vision students as related to postsecondary transition.Day 1 - Complex Needs: For teachers, administrators and service providers working with students who have complex needs. Content will focus on the use of the recently developed Discovery Guidelines for Transition.Day 2 - Blind/Low Vision: For students, parents, teachers, administrators and service providers of students who are blind/low vision. Content will focus on competencies needed for transition, self-advocacy skill development, and supports and services to help with transition. |
