Expected Outcomes: Statewide Vision Community of Practice (CoP) Members will: describe the components of the Finding Wheels book; list three considerations for travelers for each of these topics: (a) safety, (b) rideshare services, (c) low vision driving, (d) bicycling with low vision, and working with drivers; explain how they can use Finding Wheels with teens and adults in their 20s with whom they work; learn new ways to teach and increase self-determination skills; be provided with strategies to increase student access to higher level coursework; and hear from a panel of high school graduates regarding what supports were most beneficial to them. |
